These are the FAQ's and ONLY THE FAQ's 


How long is your class?  Our class is 2 weeks (recommended) of home study and one week of classroom instruction.

Where are your classes held?  Our classes are held in part, at the home of our business partner, JetBlue, in their state of the art training facility, and in part in a conference room of a four star hotel, and in part in a classroom at Aviation Institute of Maintenance, all of which are in Orlando, FL.

Do you offer financial aid?  We are not a college or university, so unfortunately we do not.  But we do offer an interest free payment plan. We also accept all major credit and debit cards, PayPal, and cashier’s checks/money orders.

I heard I don’t need a school to become a flight attendant.  Why should I come to you?  It is TRUE that you do not need schooling to become a flight attendant.  We are not a school.  Airlines hire (LESS THAN) 1% of all applicants.  Our program teaches you what you need to know to be in that 1% and we offer LIFETIME PLACEMENT ASSISTANCE and have a 90% success rate!!

Where will I stay if I attend your program?  You will stay in a brand new, four star hotel, located just off airport property, where you will be paired with a roommate of the same gender and age. Your hotel stay is included in your tuition.

Is speaking another language a requirement?  No, but it helps.

Will you guarantee me a flight attendant job?  We do not guarantee anyone a job.  We DO help you get hired and we DO offer lifetime placement assistance, but YOU have to do the work!  We DO bring airlines in to EVERY class to interview and recruit while you are here! NO ONE can possible GUARANTEE anyone a job.  There are no guarantees in life.

Are meals included?  A complimentary hot breakfast IS included; however you will be responsible for the rest of your meals.

Is there a restaurant in the hotel?  There are many restaurants in the parking lot of the hotel, and dozens more within walking distance.

Can I bring my boyfriend/girlfriend/spouse/pet?  We prefer that your focus be on our program, so we do not recommend bringing anyone with you.

I heard your business is a scam.  Is that true?  We have been in business since 1998.  We have an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau.  Airlines would not come to us to recruit every month if we were a scam.

I have a tattoo/piercings.  Is that OK? Any tattoos will need to be able to be covered with a standard uniform piece.  Makeup and band aids are not acceptable.  Piercings must be removed with the exception of one earring per ear.

I am looking at other schools.  Why should I choose you?  You should choose FAE because we do not require you to learn any unnecessary material.   Many of the other schools have a curriculum that is travel industry related.  You do not need that to become a flight attendant.  And you don’t need to pay for it either. Don’t let anyone tell you that this information is required.  IT’S NOT.  We are are the ONLY program owned and operated by CURRENT flight attendants. We have an A+ rating with the BBB.  We have a 90% placement rating.  We offer Lifetime Placement Assistance.  We are the number one program in the country.

Will I need to rent a car?  No, all necessary transportation in Orlando is included in the cost of your tuition.

I don’t have a passport.  Is it really necessary?  Yes.  Apply now.  It takes about 6 weeks to get.

Do I need to be CPR or First Aid certified to be a flight attendant?  No.  Airlines are required by law to train you for this.  Don’t spend money on something you don’t need.

Can I bring a car if I want to?  Yes, parking is included and is free if you would like to bring your vehicle.

I have braces.  Can I still be a flight attendant?  Yes. 

I read a bad review of your company online. This is making me nervous about coming to your program.  We have been in business for nearly 20 years.  We have helped thousands of people achieve their dreams and become flight attendants!  We have an A+ rating with the BBB.  We have a 90% success rate.  Don’t let one bad apple ruin your dream. And by the way?  We don’t like it either.

How much is your program?  Our tuition varies.  Please call our admissions office for current details.

I have glasses/contacts.  Can I still be a flight attendant?  Yes. 

I really want to come but I can’t afford it.  Often family members can help.  We accept all major credit cards. We also offer an interest free payment plan and can tailor it to your needs.  Call our admissions office for more information.

What if I am too tall or too short or too skinny or too fat?  Your height and weight must be in proportion.  If you are under 4’10” or over 6’6”, you might have some trouble.  If your weight is in proportion, then you are fine.

Is my airfare included in the cost of the program?  Your payment covers tuition, materials, JetBlue facility fees, and your hotel stay.  Your transportation to and from the program is not included.

I was looking for a program close to where I live.  If you REALLY want to be a flight attendant, than you must be willing to travel.

What if the airline I want to work for isn’t one of the ones coming to interview?  Then we will work with you to assist you in applying with your airline of choice.

What is all this talk about JetBlue?  We are business partners with JetBlue Airways.  We are privileged to use their state of the art training facility here in Orlando.  We use their cabin simulators to do training exercises such as decompressions and emergency evacuations, etc. etc.

Do I need to know how to swim to become a flight attendant?  No.

Will I leave your class with a job?  There is a 90% chance that you will leave our class with an offer in the wings, or with a potential training date.  Many of our students are hired while they are still in class.  Some airlines take longer.

Do I really need to pass a 10 year FBI level background check?  YES.  And a drug test too.

What if I decide I don’t want to be a flight attendant after all?  The skills you will learn during our class will benefit you for the rest of your life no matter what career you choose.

So once I complete your training, I am a flight attendant?  No.  Our program teaches you what you need to know about the job, and how to get the job.  Once you have been hired by your airline, you must still complete their FAA mandated in house training program and pass a minimum of 5 operating hours to become a licensed flight attendant.

How will I know where to go once I arrive in Orlando?  Once you have paid your tuition in full, we will send you an information packet containing all the necessary information.

The airfare costs less if I come on Tuesday.  Can I come late or leave early?  No.  You must attend the entire class to successfully complete the program and qualify for the lifetime placement assistance.

How long is the class?  Class starts at 9:00 AM on Monday and runs no later than 4:00PM on Friday.  We typically run from 8:30 or 9:00 AM until 6:00PM every day, but this varies and we must be flexible to schedule changes.

I’m looking at other schools and their program is much longer.  Why is this?  Their programs are longer because they are teaching you material unnecessary for becoming a flight attendant.  We SPECIALIZE in helping you become a flight attendant. We don’t waste your time or your money.

How often are your classes held?  Our classes are held once per month.

Another school is claiming to be FAA certified.  Is your training FAA certified?  Our safety training at JetBlue is the only portion of our training that is FAA certified.  The only completely FAA certified training is the training provided to you by your airline.  NO ONE, EXCEPT AN AIRLINE can provide complete FAA certified training.
 
I don’t want to be away from home or gone overnight.  This job is not for you.

What should I wear?  This is a professional environment. Business casual attire is required during class, except when airlines are here.  Interview attire is required then.  Once you have paid your tuition in full, we will send you the requirements.  Jeans, shorts, flip-flops, tank tops, sneakers, etc. are prohibited during class.

Is there an age requirement to be a flight attendant?  You must be over 18 and under 100 

Do I need a laptop to be a flight attendant?  No, not necessarily, but it helps.  What you will need is intermediate computer skills, regular and reliable internet service, and a smart phone is recommended. All airline applications are now completed via web, and most airlines use email and text messages to communicate about both applications and employee scheduling.

What if I want my own room when I attend the program?  There is an additional fee of $300 to have your own room. 



What we do:  We work with you to get you the job, and we work for the airlines to provide them flight attendants.  We specialize in instructing you on what you need to know to be successful.  We teach you about what the job entails, and how to land the job.  We then bring airlines to you while you are in class to interview and recruit YOU. We provide LIFETIME PLACEMENT ASSISTANCE.

What we do not do:  We do not teach you any unnecessary material.  We do not waste your time.  We do not waste your money. We do not make false promises. We do not claim to be something we are not.

Here’s the bottom line – We are the NUMBER ONE rated program for Flight Attendant instruction and placement in the US.  If you want to learn a bunch of other stuff – like how to book high end vacations, or how to be a gate agent, then we cannot help you.  However, if your dream is to become a flight attendant, than you owe it to yourself to do it the right way.  We are the professionals.  This is what we do, and we do it better than anybody else.  We are the fastest, most reputable, most economical, route to becoming a flight attendant.
